Recently I was doing my shopping at Wal Mart in Palm Coast and on my way out the door I met a gentleman who was waiting for his vehicle (tire repair) He asked me was I crazy for doing grocery shopping at WM. I said why? Then he told me about a little secret that not a lot of people know about. He asked me if I was ever in the Dollar Tree and I said yes! Yes he said: but did you ever buy food in there? I said I didn’t know they had food in the Dollar Tree. Check it out he said, it will save you a small fortune on grocery shopping, so I did and wrote this song!

Recreation in Palm Coast consists of several activities with year round boating, picnicking at the parks, or jogging through the woods with winding trails that go for miles. Bike riding are also a favorite for the locals. Just recently Golf-Cart riding was introduced to the Flagler Beach area and has been an instant success. For the more adventurous, water-sports, surfing, golf and tennis and a combination of sporting activities that compliment this city like no other.

Recent additions to the city of Palm Coast include the new Town Center located on Moody Blvd which has several entrances. The European Village which houses a modern hotel and stores to suit everyone’s shopping tastes. A new state of the art Courthouse in Bunnell.

Palm Coast is also known for the finest hotels and motels in the area and is a favorite for visitors to stay, while making day-trips to Disney World, Marineland, Daytona Beach, Flagler Beach and the oldest city in the United States “St. Augustine” which is just a stones throw up A1A.
A1A Scenic Route
Take the scenic route on A1A which parallels the Atlantic oceanic beaches of white/red sands and watch the dolphins and manatees play. Recently some hump-back whales have been spotted on Flagler Beach Pier.
Visit the little old town of Mt. Dora with craft-stores and International Festivals where artists and vendors set up their tents and present the finest art and unique wares. Then return to base to one of the best cities in Florida, a home away from home – The City of Palm Coast in Florida
